Milkymist I founded the Milkymist™ project in 2007, which manufactures a copyleft hardware computer for live video effects. The project goes great lengths to apply the open source principles at every level possible, and is best known for the Milkymist SoC which is among the first commercialized system-on-chip designs with free HDL source code. |
Migen Migen is a Python toolbox for building complex digital hardware. Started late 2011 and still experimental, it aims at automating further the VLSI design process. It provides tools to build synchronous designs more productively, integrate system-on-chips, design dataflow systems, and more. Migen will become the foundation for the next-generation Milkymist SoC. |
Electronics for high energy physics I developed the open source time-to-digital FPGA core for CERN in 2011, and I am available for contract work regarding this core. I generally welcome other scientific projects, so feel free to contact me regarding your FPGA, electronics or software design needs for your experiments. |
